Clean your unit gently with mild soap and warm water. If you're in an area with hard water, it's a good idea to occasionally descale the unit. To descale, pour 1/4 cup of distilled white vinegar over the titanium plates in the center of the base, making sure they are fully covered. Allow the vinegar to sit for upwards of 12 hours, then rinse well. It's best to do this descaling process once per month for the best results. Please remember not to submerge the base in water, put it in the dishwasher, or use a wire metal brush for cleaning.
